The building is on the corner of South Main and Division streets across from the Depot Museum.  The center is open weekdays from 8am to 4pm with the participants being there from 8am to 12:30pm.

The center van driver, Nelda Garner, leaves the center at 8 am to pick up people living inside the Hope city limits who may not be able to drive in.  Other participants come in throughout the morning.  Center coordinator, Amy Sweat, has activities to keep participants entertained. These activities may include exercises, word puzzles, Bingo, educational programs, videos, crafts and games.

A nutritious meal is prepared by our cook, Paula Raschke, and served at 11:30 each weekday using approved menus from the Area Agency on Aging. We also offer the same meal delivered to the home if participants are not physically able to come to the center.  We ask that participants give a $1.50 donation to the center for the meal.  The only requirement for participation at the center is that you or your spouse must be age 60 or older.

In addition to Senior activities at the center, Commodities are issued from this site quarterly for anyone who meets the income guidelines.
